Soup Lunches

All welcome. Please come along to our next community soup lunch. Arrive by 12.30pm. Enjoy a bowl (or two) of soup, roll/bread, tea, coffee & cake. Take something from our free produce stall. Chat to friends. Meet new friends. There's no need to book, just turn up.

St Mildred's Church Hall, Church Road, Tenterden.


  • The lunches are made by the Tenterden Community Hub team with food from Fareshare (see below).
  • Developing community friendships.
  • Helping people in need.
  • Stopping food waste.
  • For families and individuals (children welcome with their families).

2020 Dates

There are no 2020 soup lunch dates because of COVID   


"FareShare is a UK-wide charity that redistributes food that would otherwise go to waste to charities & community groups including homeless shelters, children's breakfast clubs, and domestic violence refuges. These organisations turn the food into nutritious meals and provide life-changing support."


There's no need to book for our free community soup lunches, just come along to one or all of the dates above

About Us

We provide local support to individuals and families relating but not limited to financial help along with a listening ear for any other matters that might affect them. We provide signposting services and work with local schools to provide training lessons and workshops on home budgeting and money management for pupils and parents. We undertake activities which enhance community cohesion.
